When the forklift is running, the force on each part of the tire is more complicated: there are vertical reaction forces in the vertical direction, and longitudinal and lateral reaction forces in the tangential direction, which causes the tire to slip in these directions in whole or in part, causing tread wear and deformation; Tension and compression inside the carcass cause fatigue of the material, thereby reducing the strength; shear stress is generated between the plies, and when this stress exceeds the adsorption force between the ply and the rubber layer, the loose cord will appear; In the deformation of the tire, frictional heat generation also occurs between the outer tube and the inner tube. Part of the heat is radiated in the air, and the other part of the heat is accumulated, which causes the temperature of the tire to rise and the performance to decrease, which increases the abnormal wear of the tire and causes loose cords , Breakage and rupture of the carcass.
(1) Strengthen the maintenance of tires to check the air pressure, tire temperature, dig stones, and plug small holes. Inflate the tires according to the prescribed air pressure. Regularly check and adjust the tire air pressure under cold conditions and a certain load, at least once a month. Due to the high ambient temperature in summer, if you find that the tire temperature is too high, you should increase the number of stops to avoid direct sunlight. For tires, the fork should be parked in a cool place. It is not allowed to cool down or deflate with cold water. When parked for a long time in the open air in winter, you should pad a wooden board under the tire. Do not accelerate immediately when starting. After the tire gets hot, turn to normal driving. It is necessary to remove in time the debris such as metal sheets, glass and crushed stones embedded between the treads; after the embedded debris is removed, if the wound has reached the tire body, a new tire should be replaced. The studs, cuts, bulges, and cracks of the tire should be checked in time. Raw rubber should be used to fill deep wounds.
